When do classes start?
Every first Monday of the month. No semester system — you can start any month, year-round.
How long is the Master Cosmetology program?
1,500 hours. Full-time (34 hrs/week): 11 months. Part-time (20 hrs/week): 15–18 months. Accelerated (28 hrs/week): 54 weeks.
What are the admission requirements?
High school diploma or GED, government-issued ID, Social Security card, $100 application fee. That's it!
Do you accept transfer students?
Yes! We evaluate hours from other schools. Typically total hours minus 250. A practical exam is required.
Is financial aid available?
Yes for Master Cosmetology and Instructor programs (FAFSA code: 042566). Hair Design does not qualify. We also offer 0% interest in-house financing with no credit check for all programs.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! In-house financing with 0% interest. No credit check. Down payment starts at $350.
What is included in the student kit?
Professional tools, Milady textbooks, mannequins, irons, clippers, and more. Everything you need to start training on day one.
How do you prepare for State Board?
Both practical and written exam prep is included. After 1,000 hours, students receive extensive State Board Drill training. We handle all paperwork for your license application.
What is your placement rate?
100% for graduates seeking employment. Partners include Joseph & Friends, Aria Salon, and more.
Can I switch between full-time and part-time?
Yes, with director approval and schedule adjustment.
